Summer Trip to the Cabin

Be patient with me while I figure out this blog thing. I realize I'm a few months behind, so hopefully I'll catch up. Or this will turn out like my scrapbooks, 3 years behind!!! (I feel like this is a pattern in my life - somebody help me) I really do have great intentions, I just don't know where all the time goes!

We went up to our Grandparents cabin in July. I grew up going to the cabin every year, and now my kids get to do the same. They love it here, sometimes I don't know why we don't go more often. It's usually windy enough to fly kites, and the kids have a blast!

Here She Is!

I know I'm a little bit late on this. My goal was to start this blog when Annie was born. But two months late isn't that bad. Annie Mae Jones was born May 27th, 2008 at 11:31am and was 8lb 2oz. I had a doctors appointment that morning, and I guess she decided that this was her day! They sent me over to the hospital and she was here about 45 minutes later. Rusty made it about 15 minutes before she arrived. (thank goodness!)




We didn't get a lot of pictures of Annie at the hospital. She was in the NICU most of the time at the hospital. She had trouble breathing for the first two days, and then when we thought she free to come home with us, they took her back because she had jaundice. Here's a few of the pictures from the first two days of her life.
